A készletből egy PIC IC-n alapuló frekvencia mérő áramkör építhető kristály rezonátor teszter funkcióval.

A 27...48MHZ-es kristályok méréséhez pontos impedanciaillesztés szükséges. Illesztetlenség esetén páratlan számú felharmonikus mérhető (pl.: 48MHz helyett 16MHz 1/3-ad).
Az alacsony frekvenciájú kristályoknak és kerámia rezonátoroknak teljesen eltérő oszcillátor-kialakításra van szükségük, ezért nem mérhetőek vagy kiegészítő elektronikára van szükség.
