Always be sure to DISCHARGE capacitors before connectiong them to the tester! At the "KAA" (cathode and anode) measurement points, only a maximum of 20V Zener diode with the correct polarity may be measured.

It can test a zener diode (zener tester connector) and has a self-calibration function. Unlike the TC-1, it is not necessary to perform a self-test calibration on the instrument.

Samsung, Motorola, Kaseikyo, JVC, NEC, Matsushita, Proton, Thomson, Sharp, RC5, RC6m SIRC_12, SIRC_15, SIRC_20, etc. it can also be used to detect coded infrared waveforms. In the switched on state, after the completion of component recognition, pressing the "Start" button twice will enter the infrared testing mode. Then, pointing the receiver marked "IR" on the tester and pressing any button on the infrared remote control, the tester will display the protocol and the data code.
After completing the infrared testing, you can return to the component testing mode by pressing the "Start" button twice.
It is important that the device does not switch off automatically in inra testing mode.

One-button operation, automatic recognition and shutdown.

Insert the legs of the maximum 3-leg component into different numbered (1, 2, 3) connectors, fold down the small handle, press the button and the sensor will automatically test and finally display the results on the 160x128 color TFT screen.
For Zener diode measurements, use the measuring points marked K (cathode) and A (anode).
